Job summary

TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced PMC Manager in Penang to lead production planning, material control, and scheduling for our electronics manufacturing operations.

This full-time role reports to senior production management and aims to optimise resource use and on-time delivery across the supply chain. You will develop schedules aligned with forecasts, monitor material planning, coordinate with production teams, and implement forecasting models to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in production planning, material control, or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work across departments.
• Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is desirable.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, customer orders, and capacity constraints.
• Monitor and manage material planning to maintain adequate stock while minimising carrying costs.
• Coordinate with production teams to track work-in-progress and adhere to schedules.
• Analyse demand patterns and implement forecasting models to improve planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with purchasing, QA, and logistics to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and delays through data analysis.
• Prepare and present production performance reports with KPIs and metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits for data accuracy.
• Liaise with customers and sales teams regarding delivery schedules and order status.
