Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Penang is seeking a Production Planner who will support production and operations to meet customer needs and business goals. You will analyze MRP outputs, manage POs with contract manufacturers, monitor orders, and ensure timely delivery.

You will also handle consign inventory, RMA processes, finished goods planning, and ERP system transactions, generating weekly reports and collaborating with internal teams to resolve supply chain issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience with MRP/ERP systems is preferred.
• 2–3 years in Production Planning, Material Planning, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting tools; excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Production planning and order management to ensure customer commitments.
• Coordinate POs and production orders with Contract Manufacturers.
• Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
• Support demand changes including expedite and recovery requirements.
• Assist consign inventory reconciliation and timely goods receipts.
• Coordinate RMA, rework, and conversion activities.
• Support finished goods planning and inventory management; coordinate shipment readiness.
• Perform ERP transactions accurately and generate weekly planning reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Contract Manufacturers to resolve supply chain issues.
