TECHMAN ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced PMC Manager in Penang to lead production planning, material control, and scheduling for our electronics manufacturing operations.

This full-time role reports to senior production management and aims to optimise resource use and on-time delivery across the supply chain. You will develop schedules aligned with forecasts, monitor material planning, coordinate with production teams, and implement forecasting models to improve

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in production planning, material control, or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work across departments.
• Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is desirable.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, customer orders, and capacity constraints.
• Monitor and manage material planning to maintain adequate stock while minimising carrying costs.
• Coordinate with production teams to track work-in-progress and adhere to schedules.
• Analyse demand patterns and implement forecasting models to improve planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with purchasing, QA, and logistics to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and delays through data analysis.
• Prepare and present production performance reports with KPIs and metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits for data accuracy.
• Liaise with customers and sales teams regarding delivery schedules and order status.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PMC Manager to join our production planning and scheduling team in Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in our manufacturing operations. As PMC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production planning, material control, and scheduling activities to ensure optimal resource utilisation, on-time delivery of products, and efficient supply chain management. This position reports directly to senior production management and is essential to achieving our operational excellence objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, customer orders, and capacity constraints
• Monitor and manage material planning to ensure adequate stock levels whilst minimising inventory carrying costs
• Coordinate with production teams to track work-in-progress and ensure adherence to production schedules
• Analyse demand patterns and implement forecasting models to optimise production planning accuracy
• Collaborate with purchasing, quality assurance, and logistics departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and production delays through problem-solving and data analysis
• Prepare and present regular production performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and reduce lead times
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to maintain data accuracy
• Liaise with customers and sales teams regarding delivery schedules and order status updates

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in production planning, material control, or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated expertise in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning software (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with capability to work effectively across multiple departments
• Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is highly desirable
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs
