CK East Construction Sdn Bhd is hiring an experienced Plumber for a full-time, on-site role based in Kampung Sungai Penchala, Kuala Lumpur. You will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on construction sites, reading blueprints and ensuring compliance with local codes.

The role requires strong hands-on plumbing experience, knowledge of regulations, and teamwork to coordinate with other trades while upholding safety standards. A valid Malaysia driving licence is advantageous.

About the role

CK East Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is based in Kampung Sungai Penchala, Kuala Lumpur. As a Plumber, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise will be essential in delivering reliable plumbing solutions that are fundamental to the success of our construction endeavours.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems on construction sites and completed projects
• Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications
• Conduct inspections of plumbing installations to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and implement effective solutions to resolve problems efficiently
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with other aspects of construction projects
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project
• Ensure all plumbing work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised in accordance with health and safety requirements
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and functionality, making adjustments or repairs as needed

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a qualified Plumber with substantial hands‑on experience in residential and/or commercial construction projects
• Relevant plumbing qualifications, certifications, or apprenticeship completion in accordance with local requirements
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards applicable in Malaysia
• Proficiency in using standard plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in all work undertaken
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work collaboratively on construction sites
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions
• A valid driving licence is advantageous
• Experience with modern plumbing materials and installation techniques is desirable
