Job summary

NXP Limited in Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer to provide process support for electroplating, drive improvements, and lead tooling developments on site. You will work with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, design new tooling, and maintain process documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical) or equivalent required.
2–3 years of related experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Must be comfortable in a chemical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide process support for Electroplating processes.
Drive continual process improvement to enhance productivity and capacity.
Collaborate with maintenance and equipment engineering to troubleshoot issues and plan tooling upgrades.
Generate and maintain process documentation and reports.
Provide technical support and training to production personnel.
Lead New Developments/Projects and liaise with vendors on tooling developments.
Design and fabricate new tooling for existing or new products.
Troubleshoot and maintain the plating line to ensure stability.
Assist in implementing actions to reduce scrap and quality issues.
Engage in process and productivity improvement initiatives.
Organize working groups to resolve quality problems and drive Continuous Improvement.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are carried out per plan.
Monitor process stability and capability values.
