Job summary

Molex is seeking a Senior / Manufacturing Process Engineer (Automation) in Malaysia to drive automation/assembly process development for NPI and production. You will optimize manual and automated processes, ensuring world-class productivity, quality, and cost performance.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with assembly processes and automation equipment.
Understanding of tooling and manufacturing engineering principles.
Familiarity with CAD tools for fixture and tooling review.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and sustain assembly and automated processes for Molex components.
Support NPI builds with process readiness, tooling validation, and equipment qualification.
Collaborate with Automation, R&D, and suppliers on tooling and assembly modules from design to implementation.
Conduct process studies, trials, and capability evaluations to improve yield and cycle time.
Analyze data, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare process specs, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and reports.
Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives to boost efficiency.
