Job description

• To execute shift production tasks in accordance with production planning.
• To respond quickly and practically to any emergencies and unplanned shutdowns during shift production.
• To ensure that plant performance achieves targeted productivity and specified product quality as per customers’ requirements.
• To ensure teamwork among operators, including other departments, and ensure all delegated tasks are completed timely.
• Issue permits to work, including LOTO if needed, ensuring safe isolation and condition of equipment.
• To schedule shift work for the team.
• To ensure the operation team complies with all safety and health requirements at work.
• To ensure the work area is clean and organized.
• To provide training and coaching for operators.
• To report to the plant manager and complete all tasks assigned by the plant manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM Level or equivalent technical certificate with good supervisory and communication skills.
• 8-10 years working experience in the manufacturing/production industry, with at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position.
• Able to speak, read, and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Experience in operating a control panel is an advantage.
