Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled professional for a supervisory position. The role involves planning and leading operations to maintain high plant availability, conducting safety checks, and training technicians. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably with a supervisory role, and must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience in a supervisory position is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Steam Boiler Grade 1 Certificate is an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To plan, lead, provide advice, analyze and troubleshoot the facilities as per job instruction or assignments in accordance to business operating system requirement to ensure maintaining high plant availability and reliability, optimal cost of production, high degree of platform process safety under the supervision of the Utilities Manager
• Undertake resource planning to ensure right manning, and materials available for effective and efficient work execution. Perform all safety equipment routine checks to ensure operability and availability of the equipment
• To monitor utility plant during emergency situations, make necessary work adjustments to ensure the emergency situation is managed in accordance with the approved Company Emergencies Procedures and operational interruption is minimized
• Conduct on-job / classroom training for Technicians to develop their skills and competencies in performing assigned work and progression
• Develop, review and update training manuals to ensure relevancy and validity in line with operational and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Minimum 6 Years working experiences in the Manufacturing & Plant Industry, preferably in the Supervisory Position for 2 years
• Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Possessed Steam Boiler Grade 1 Certificate is an added advantage
• Relevant working experiences in Cooling Water system, Demin Water Plant, Nitrogen Plant, Air Compressors Unit, and Waste Water Treatment Plant is an added advantage
