Job summary

KLK OLEO is seeking a Production Engineer to monitor daily operations, optimize processes and lead root cause analysis for continuous improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Malaysia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
• Experience in oleochemical, edible oil, palm oil refining or specialty chemical manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong capability to lead root cause analysis and implement improvements.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and communication to coach production teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production performance and maximize plant utilization to meet targets.
• Troubleshoot and optimize processes to improve reliability, yield, energy efficiency and quality.
• Lead RCA and implement CAPA for deviations and plant upsets.
• Drive Kaizen initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Optimize storage tank utilization and coordinate product movements for inventory control.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure high equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, safety, environmental and quality systems.
• Coach and develop production personnel and promote safety culture.
