Job summary

The Arkema Group in Malaysia is seeking a Plant Operator to support daily manufacturing activities at the Pasir Gudang site. The role involves raw material charging, packaging, filling operations, and waste handling to maintain product quality and safety.

You will also be responsible for housekeeping, following work instructions, and adhering to HSEQ policies. A forklift certification and basic calculation skills are required, with fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM required.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Certified forklift driver.
• Able to do simple calculations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out raw material charging as requested to ensure materials are loaded into the correct reactor and quantity.
• Top up half drums as requested by Shift Leaders to control stock.
• Carry out packaging/drumming as directed by Shift Leader to ensure correct product, packaging material and label.
• Perform filling operations for finished goods from storage tanks into tanker as per supervisor instructions.
• Handle wastes to ensure scheduled wastes are managed.
• Maintain housekeeping to keep the workplace safe, clean and tidy.
• Follow operating orders safely and efficiently in line with HSEQ objectives and targets.
• Wear PPE and follow health and safety instructions as required.
