Job summary

Omya in Simpang Pulai, Malaysia, is seeking a Plant Operator-Warehouse for a full-time, on-site role. You will load and unload materials, operate forklifts and packing machines, and assist maintenance while ensuring accurate batch records and inventory checks.

The position requires STM/STPM level education, at least 1 year of related experience, and the ability to work shifts with overtime. Local language fluency and safety-consciousness are essential.

Qualifications

• STM/STPM (Required)
• Experience: Forklift operation, packing, and general industrial equipment handling.
• Willingness to learn procedures and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Load goods into containers for export and into lorries for domestic delivery.
• Unload incoming raw materials from lorries into the warehouse.
• Complete forklift and packing machine checklists and record equipment condition.
• Assist maintenance teams with machine repairs and checks.
• Record batch numbers before dispatch and manage packaging quality.
• Monitor lab results and report non-conformities for corrective action.
• Maintain accurate packing tonnage records and perform stock counts.
