Job summary

Wilmar Agrifert Pulau Indah Sdn Bhd is seeking a Plant Operator to join our production team in Pulau Indah, Selangor. This full-time role focuses on operating production machinery, monitoring processes, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring safety compliance.

You will operate and monitor plant equipment, perform routine inspections, support changeovers, and complete production records while following SHE procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school qualification or equivalent; SPM or STPM is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, fertilizer or industrial operations is an advantage.
• Physically fit and willing to work in plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production operations.
• Perform routine inspections on machines and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
• Monitor production processes and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping activities within the plant area.
• Assist in machine setup, material handling and production changeovers.
• Complete production records and shift reports accurately.
• Follow all safety, health and environmental (SHE) procedures and company policies.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve production targets.
• Support maintenance activities during plant shutdown when required.
