Job summary

CK Ingredient Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, QC and QA functions in line with company standards. The role requires strong leadership to guide teams, ensure GMP/HACCP/Halal compliance, and drive ongoing process improvements for high-quality outputs.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience managing plant operations (Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, QA) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, halal requirements and food safety practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, maintenance, warehouse, QC & QA per company standards.
• Ensure equipment and tools operate according to procedures.
• Monitor workers to meet material needs for each production batch.
• Drive continuous process improvements to deliver value to customers.
• Inspect processes to ensure high-quality products.
• Oversee warehouse operations including loading, unloading, storage and movement of goods.
• Coordinate vehicle operations within the company premises.
• Lead briefings and meetings to resolve daily issues.
• Perform other duties to support department operations.

Plant Manager Duties

• Manage the production, maintenance, warehouse, QC & QA according to specific standards and protocols of the company.
• Handle all equipment or machine or tools according to the standard procedures and functionality.
• Monitor workers to perform according to the type and quantity of materials needed for each production batch to ensure high productivity.
• Perform process improvement from time to time to bring greater values to customers.
• Inspect work process and procedure properly to produce high quality products.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including the safe loading, unloading, storage, and movement of goods.
• Drive, operate and maintain proper functioning of properly vehicles within the company premises.
• Handle briefings and meeting with workers to resolve daily work issues.
• Perform any other related duties necessary to support the efficient operation of the department.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.

Experience managing plant operations, including Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, QA, and QC, is an advantage.

Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal requirements, and food safety practices.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.

Willing to work beyond normal working hours when required by operational needs.
