Job summary

Sinergia Talents Sdn Bhd seeks a proactive Maintenance Leader to oversee the repair and maintenance of plant equipment, ensuring reliability and longevity. You will manage costs, lead a team of technicians and engineers, and coordinate with contractors to optimize uptime and safety.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years hands-on maintenance plus 3+ years in management, and a track record of driving efficiency and compliance with ISO/UL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering as stated.
• 5 years hands-on maintenance experience plus 3 years in a leadership role.
• Cross-functional team experience with technical and non-technical work.
• Strong analytical skills to identify efficiency improvements.
• Proficient in budgeting, planning and scheduling of maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor and lead subordinates.
• Working knowledge of safety and environmental standards (ISO/ UL).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategy for asset longevity.
• Lead maintenance team via recruitment training and performance management.
• Oversee repairs, maintenance, and upgrades; coordinate with contractors.
• Develop and manage maintenance budget; monitor costs.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and spares for readiness.
• Create preventive maintenance schedules to minimize disruption.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and a safe workplace.
• Manage build shop operations and cost-effective resource use.
• Keep maintenance records, manuals, and audit-ready reports.
• Identify efficiency and CSP opportunities in maintenance processes.
• Provide regular reports and KPIs on equipment availability and improvements.
