Job summary

Dahua Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Planner Executive in Penang to coordinate production schedules, materials and inventory across functions. You will develop rolling schedules, monitor performance and adapt plans to demand changes, ensuring timely delivery for customers.

The role requires 3+ years in production planning in manufacturing, a degree in Logistics/Industrial Engineering or Business, strong Mandarin and English, and solid ERP/SAP experience with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field such as Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
• Strong written and spoken Mandarin and English are required; leadership and interpersonal skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Plan production schedules: develop rolling daily, weekly and monthly plans based on demand.
• Manage material requirements: generate material needs, track purchases and maintain inventory levels.
• Identify planning risks: provide early warnings and reports to support meeting production targets.
• Coordinate production activities: prepare daily schedules and communicate with Production Department.
• Adapt to demand changes: adjust plans quickly when customer demand fluctuates.
• Monitor plan performance: track daily achievement rates and abnormal hours.
• Resolve planning exceptions: follow up on issues and coordinate rapid responses.
• Review customer orders: conduct ERP order reviews and provide feasibility feedback.
• Improve inventory turnover: analyze stagnant finished goods and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate stock counts: organize physical counts and ensure accuracy.
• Support management priorities: handle additional tasks from senior management.

Our client "Dahua Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd" is seeking a Planner Executive to join their team!

This opportunity suits an experienced production planning professional who enjoys coordinating schedules, materials, inventory and cross-functional manufacturing activities. The role offers a monthly salary of RM3,600–RM4,900.

What you'll be doing?

• Plan production schedules: Develop rolling daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer demand and project forecasts.


• Manage material requirements: Generate material requirements, track purchased materials and maintain appropriate inventory levels.


• Identify planning risks: Provide early warnings and reports to support the achievement of production plans.


• Coordinate production activities: Prepare daily schedules and maintain effective communication with the Production Department.


• Adapt to demand changes: Adjust production plans quickly when customer demand fluctuates beyond agreed thresholds.


• Monitor plan performance: Track daily achievement rates and abnormal production hours to support timely action.


• Resolve planning exceptions: Follow up on issues and coordinate rapid responses from relevant departments.


• Review customer orders: Complete ERP order reviews promptly and provide feedback on order feasibility.


• Improve inventory turnover: Analyse stagnant finished goods and encourage relevant departments to take corrective action.


• Coordinate stock counts: Organise physical inventory counts and ensure accurate results.


• Support management priorities: Complete other tasks assigned by senior management.

Who are they looking for?

• Relevant experience: Candidates with at least 3 years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply.


• Academic background: A college degree or above is required, with Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration preferred.


• Language proficiency: Strong written and spoken Mandarin and English are required, with Mandarin supporting communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.


• Leadership skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills will support effective coordination across departments.


• Analytical ability: Strong statistical and data analysis skills are important for monitoring plans, inventory and production performance.


• Systems knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is required, while hands-on SAP experience is a significant advantage.
