Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Planner III in Malaysia to manage parts and materials flow for on-time production. You will work to optimize material plans, coordinate with buyers, operations, and warehousing, and ensure data integrity in systems.

Candidates should have a diploma or degree in engineering or related fields and solid experience in manufacturing environments. The role requires proactive problem solving and ability to handle production bottlenecks and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning and production scheduling.
• Familiarity with supplier coordination and on-time delivery processes.
• Data maintenance and system integrity in ERP/MIS environments.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and implement contingency plans.
• Experience in manufacturing settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Parts maintenance checking before project kickoff.
• Plan & schedule materials availability to meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
• Maintain data integrity and input purchasing/fabrication parts accurately.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop contingencies.
• Work with vendors on revisions and change orders.
• Translate forecasts into material plans and coordinate with suppliers.
• Execute materials planning and purchasing for production fulfillment.
• Review daily reports with Purchasing department.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineers on non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers.
• Attend production meetings and provide updates.
• Generate management reports as assigned by Superior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Parts maintenance checking before project kick in
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits
• Co-ordinate with other departments including Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate withquality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science/ mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering At least 5 years working experience
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering with At least 8 years working experience
• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• No fear of paper works and system update
