Robert Bosch Power Tools Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Order Planning/Order Management professional to liaise with customers on orders loading and fulfillment, coordinating with internal and external parties, and contributing to the Supply Availability Dashboard.
The role includes reviewing materials and capacity, driving backlog reduction, tracking forecast accuracy, coordinating meetings with BU/LOG, and supporting management reports.
Liaise with customers on orders loading and fulfillment with effective coordination between internal and external parties.
Contribute to Supply Availability Dashboard: Report FG availability & production/material issues.
Regularly review materials & capacity situation with VS-LOP planners, identify potential restrictions.
Drive backlog reduction & communicate recovery plan to BU/LOG, PT/LOP & SC.
Track and analyze customer demand trend and forecast accuracy for inventory control.
Validate forecast with respective regions or CSO against RPP/CAPL.
Drive BU/LOG for Midterm Forecast (MTP) in system to enable resource planning in the plant.
Prepare and share weekly order list.
Track and report the daily schedule vs. production actual output.
Set priorities in sales orders and work closely with shipping department on urgent FG shipments.
Arrange and lead Supply Validation (SV) Meeting with BU to review mid/long term RPP vs customer forecast.
Lead routine conference call with customers.
Engage and work with project team on new project ramp up, master data set up in system.
Monitor forecast and order loading for new products & products under ramp down or phase out plan.
Work with BU/LOG to coordinate return FG from IDC/RDCs/LDCs.
Work closely with other functional team and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
Work closely with logistic team on shipment arrangement.
Support quarterly CAPL analysis activity.
Support and prepare management reports (including BPS related) as and when necessary.
Manage, control & minimize outbound air freight.
Track & analyze delivery relevant KPIs – Eg. SL1, LT0, AQ.
Review daily replenishment status in IDC/RDC/LDC & early warning reports, discuss measures to resolve bottleneck situation together with BU/LOG, PT/LOP & SC.
In bottleneck situation, liaise with BU/LOG on allocation plan.
Track & analyze FG inventory TCT for selected A-items.
Set up material master for new SKUs in P13 & add*One.
Handle PO & outbound delivery for Marketing & Sales samples.
Attend & contribute in VS Daily Delivery Meeting (DDM) to review delivery issues & align priority.
Attend & contribute in Plant Delivery Meeting (DM).
Contribute on PPT system / departmental improvement activities.
Ad-hoc tasks as requested by Superior.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business studies, Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the field of order management / customer service. Experience in material planning (buyer) and/or production planning is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical skills.

Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners is essential.

Robert Bosch Semiconductor Manufacturing Penang Sdn. Bhd. Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.
