Robert Bosch (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Senior Logistics Officer to oversee intralogistics operations across multiple areas, ensuring smooth material flow and accurate stock control. You will coordinate headcount, scheduling, and daily activities while supporting SAP-related initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Coordinate daily supermarket operations across assigned areas (FAM, ESM, PSM, SiiX, etc).
Ensure smooth material flow from warehouse to production based on established processes.
Manage headcount planning, manpower allocation, and scheduling in assigned areas, highlighting gaps to the manager.
Support supervision of daily activities and ensure tasks are executed as planned.
Support implementation of BPS / continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor KPIs and report deviations with proposed actions.
Act as first-level escalation point for operational, headcount, discipline and system issues.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers (e.g., Kanban supplier) for daily operations.
Ensure stock accuracy, FIFO compliance, and adherence to SOP / WI.
Support review and update of operational procedures and workflows.
Support SAP-related topics, digitalization & automation implementation and ensure correct system usage.
Conduct on-the-job training and knowledge sharing to team members.
Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and company directives.
Support superior in both internal and external audits by preparing documentation, providing necessary information, and ensuring processes are audit-ready.
Support superior in reporting, analysis, operational planning, and staffing decisions.
Other additional tasks as per superior instructions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum 3–5years of relevant experience inlogistics and related work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP is an added advantage
Familiarity with FMEA, project management, quality management, and operational strategy is preferred
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners
Proactive, responsible, and result-oriented mindset with strong accountability
Structured and detail-oriented approach to work with good problem-solving skills
Awareness of escalation processes and ability to handle issues within defined scope
Experience in mentoring or guiding junior staff is an advantage
Strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence

The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.
