Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Planner to coordinate production schedules, manage material procurement, and ensure timely delivery of products. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to meet deadlines.

You'll issue lots, compute materials, liaise with buyers, prepare job cards, monitor progress, and present weekly plans. Strong organization and familiarity with scheduling software and MS Office are essential.

Responsibilities

• Issue new lots based on customer service order lists.
• Calculate required materials from drawings and coordinate with buyers for purchase requests.
• Send out new orders to external fabrication suppliers.
• Purchase or prepare materials for external fabrication.
• Prepare job cards and material forms for each machine and assembly process.
• Update daily production schedules and monitor progress.
• Develop and present weekly production plans during meetings.
• Schedule assembly activities according to customer service requirements.
• Ensure schedules stay on track and coordinate with QA to meet quantity and quality standards for shipments.
• Follow up with machinists on machine changeovers and adjustments.
• Coordinate with buyers to align material arrivals with machining.
• Summarize fast-moving assembly parts to maintain material availability.
• Close completed jobs and update cycle times in the job monitoring system after machining and assembly.
