Job summary

Uyemura (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Planning professional to develop schedules, manage capacity and ensure material availability for manufacturing operations in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

The role requires strong planning, analytical and communication skills, with experience in ERP systems. Join a mature manufacturing environment offering exposure to end-to-end planning and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Control or Manufacturing Operations.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCount or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of LMW-related matters will be an added advantage.

• Monitor production capacity and coordinate with Production to ensure timely execution.
• Plan and ensure sufficient raw materials and packaging materials are available for production.
• Coordinate inventory management activities and monitor stock levels.
• Arrange and coordinate shipments for raw materials and finished goods.
• Liaise closely with Production, QAQC and Management to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Identify potential supply or production issues and take proactive corrective actions.
• Coordinate Purchasing, Store and Shipping activities to ensure smooth material flow and operational requirements.
