Job summary

Eng Teknologi Sdn. Bhd. based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Planner to lead production planning and scheduling, optimise workflows, coordinate resources and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

You will liaise with cross-functional teams, use scheduling software and ERP systems, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

About the role
Join the dynamic team at Eng Teknologi Sdn. Bhd. as a Planner. In this full-time position based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, you will play a pivotal role in the company's production planning and scheduling operations. As a Planner, you will be responsible for optimising workflows, coordinating resources, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data, identify production bottlenecks, and implement solutions
• Utilise scheduling software and other tools to optimise production plans and resource allocation
• Monitor and report on production performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials and components
• Provide support and guidance to production teams to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in project planning and implementation to drive efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges
• Proficient in the use of production planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
