Job summary

BizLink Group is seeking a PIE Staff Engineer in Penang to optimize manufacturing workflows and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will drive Lean/Six Sigma projects, resolve production challenges, and scale processes for new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master in Electronic & Electrical/Robotic Engineering Technology or Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline with 5 years of experience.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings; knowledge of PFMEA and control plans.
• Proficient in Excel, Minitab, and statistical/data analysis.

Overview Of The Position

Job Requirements

• Degree/Master: Electronic & Electrical/RoboticEngineering Technology or Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent, and demonstrated 5 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment. Prior involvement in large-scale process improvement or automation projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering design documents: ie., schematics, drawings.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Skilled in process troubleshooting, DOE, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with automation, robotics, or high-volume manufacturing systems.
• Proficiency in PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and quality systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Minitab, and statistical/data analysis tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership.
