Job summary

HEMU Wellness Centre in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. You will provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve physical function within a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution (Bachelor's degree or higher).
• Current registration or licensure with the relevant professional body in Malaysia or internationally recognised equivalent credentials.
• Proven experience working as a physiotherapist in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin or Malay is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient assessment findings and clinical objectives.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy and other rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Providing patient education and advice on exercise, posture, ergonomics and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Supporting the achievement of departmental goals and contributing to continuous service improvement.

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients, helping them recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function and quality of life. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, delivering evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs.

• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans based on patient assessment findings and clinical objectives

• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes

What we’re looking for

• A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution, such as a Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy
• Current registration or licensure with the relevant professional body in Malaysia or internationally recognised equivalent credentials
• Proven experience working as a physiotherapist in a clinical healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomical structures, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions and rehabilitation techniques, especially related to pre and postpartum conditions
• Proficiency in using physiotherapy assessment tools and treatment modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• A commitment to professional development and staying current with evidence-based practice in physiotherapy
• Fluency in English is essential; additional language proficiency (such as Mandarin or Malay) is advantageous
