Job summary

EMS Healthcare Centre in Klang, Selangor is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team in a full-time role. You will deliver high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic services, working with theatre and recovery teams to support patient recovery and mobility.

Assess patients, design individualized treatment plans, and provide manual therapy, exercises, and electrotherapy. Educate patients and families for home care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
• Valid physiotherapy registration and licensure as required by local authorities.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical physiotherapy experience.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficiency in evidence-based assessment and treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Empathy and compassion with professional boundaries.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems.
• Willingness to engage in CPD and stay current with best practices.
• Experience in theatre, recovery, or acute care settings preferred.

About the role EMS Healthcare Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic services to our patients. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in our healthcare delivery, working alongside theatre and recovery teams to support patient rehabilitation and recovery outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their health and wellness goals within our modern healthcare facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation requirements
• Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical diagnoses
• Provide hands‑on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy modalities
• Collaborate with theatre and recovery teams to support post‑operative patient rehabilitation and pain management
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation
• Educate patients and their families on exercise programmes, ergonomics, and strategies for continued recovery at home
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and professional ethical guidelines
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice within the department

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
• Valid physiotherapy registration and licensure as required by local healthcare authorities
• Minimum 2 years of clinical physiotherapy experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions relevant to post‑operative and recovery care
• Proficiency in evidence‑based assessment and treatment techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion whilst maintaining professional boundaries
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple patients effectively
• Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records systems
