Job summary

Experian is seeking a Product Engineer to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions from concept to implementation. You will work in a collaborative team to design, develop, test, and deploy software, including RESTful APIs and system integrations.

The role involves engaging with clients and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to architecture standards, and contributing to the software development lifecycle using Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Must have a Degree / Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development, system design and application support.
• Proficiency in back-end development using PHP and MySQL. Knowledge or experience in C# and .NET technologies.
• Hands-on experience designing/developing, documenting, testing and supporting RESTful APIs using XML/JSON.
• Experience designing, implementing and securing solutions using cloud services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CodeIgniter, and MVC architecture
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Software Development Life Cycle and software design concepts.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, e.g. Jenkins, Github.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the research, design, development, integration, testing and deployment of software applications.
• Design, develop and support RESTful APIs and system integration.
• Conduct technical analysis and design of application modules and databases.
• Ensure modules comply with architecture and coding standards and quality requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, requirement gathering, solution reviews and technical workshops.
• Report to Head of Software Development.

Job Description

As a Product Engineer, you will contribute to the delivery of reliable, scalable applications that support our clients and business priorities. Working within a collaborative development environment, you will apply sound engineering practices to solve technical challenges and help create integrated solutions from concept through implementation.

What you'll be doing

• You will participate in the research, design, development, integration, testing and deployment of software application.
• You will need to design, develop and support RESTful APIs and system integration.
