Job summary

SEGi University invites applications for a teaching-focused pharmacist role. The candidate will prepare undergraduate lesson plans, supervise students on research projects, and utilize the LMS to enhance learning.

The role also covers research activities, securing funding, and contributing to accreditation processes. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy with a basic Degree in Pharmacy and at least 3 years’ experience, along with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Pharmacy with specialization in Clinical Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Technology/Biotechnology and a basic degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
• Excellent English written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
• Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia or regulatory authority in the country of origin.
• Experience in tertiary education would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare undergraduate lesson plans, schemes of work, tutorials and class discussions.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students on research activities and grants.
• Utilize the learning management system to maximize student learning.
• Prepare test/examination questions with marking schemes in a timely manner.
• Prepare/update portfolio for every course taught.
• Engage in research, conduct individual or collaborative scholarly projects and secure funds for research.
• Be responsible for quality, audit and external assessments in own areas of responsibility.
• Take responsibility for programme accreditation processes and manage timetables, assessments and examinations.
