Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Business Management with Finance specialization or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in industry/academia with 2+ years lecturing in tertiary education.
• Ability to convey complex/conceptual ideas to diverse groups.
• Ability to build external networks with academics and practitioners.
• Recognised as a scholar, teacher or practice-based professional.
• Knowledge of higher education and varied delivery methods to engage students.
• Willing to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare postgraduate lesson plans, tutorials, and assignments.
• Supervise postgraduate research activities and grants.
• Utilise LMS to maximise student learning.
• Create and update test/exam questions with marking schemes.
• Prepare/update portfolios for each course taught.
• Undertake and contribute to research, individually or with others.
• Conduct scholarly projects and knowledge transfer activities.
• Identify funding sources for own research and projects.
• Ensure quality, audits and external assessments in own area.
• Take responsibility for programme accreditation processes.
• Manage timetabling, assessments and examinations.
