Job summary

SEGi University invites applications for a pharmacy faculty position. The role includes preparing undergraduate lesson plans, supervising research for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and utilizing the learning management system to enhance student learning.

Candidates should hold a Master Degree in Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy) and a Basic Degree in Pharmacy, with at least 3 years of related experience. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a Master Degree in Pharmacy Majoring in Clinical Pharmacy and a Basic Degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
• Good presentation skills with strong command in written and spoken English.
• Regular registration with Pharmacy Board Malaysia or country is an added advantage.
• Experience in tertiary education would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare undergraduate lesson plans, schemes of work, tutorials, assignments and class discussions.
• To supervise undergraduate & postgraduate students on research activities and grants.
• Utilize the learning management system to maximize student learning.
• Prepare test/examination questions together with appropriate marking scheme in a timely manner.
• Prepare/update portfolio for every course taught.
• Be responsible for quality, audit and other external assessments in own areas of responsibility.
• Take responsibility for programme accreditation processes.
• Ensure that operational processes such as timetabling, assessment and examinations are managed.

Administration and other activities

Requirements:
