Job summary

HTM Pharmacy Group in Penang is seeking a competitive Retail/Pharmacy Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products, with duties including selling, restocking and merchandising to boost service quality and sales growth.

You will assist with drug dispensing, gather and enter customer information, prepare prescriptions after pharmacist consultation, maintain records and inventory, and manage stock orders. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Assist with customer service and sales in a pharmacy retail setting.
• Education by STM/STPM is preferred.
• Retail experience is beneficial.
• Language skills in Malay and Mandarin or English are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a competitive Retail/Pharmacy Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. Retail Assistant duties include selling, restocking and merchandising. The goal is to provide high-class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.

Job Profile:

Assist with drug dispensing by measuring, compounding, packaging, and distributing medications

Gather and enter customer information’s in the computer system

Prepare, package customer’s prescription medications after a pharmacist consultation

Maintain prescription and inventory record-keeping systems

Maintain proper medicine storage and security

Place and receive orders for stock to maintain inventory

Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.

Job Level Standard:

Proven experience as a pharmacist assistant preferred

Good attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

Good problem solving and decision-making skills

Caring, compassion and highly motivated

Willingness to keep up to date with new products and practices

Proficiency in 2 or more languages (Malay, English or Mandarin dialects)
