Job summary

Neutron Technologies & Communications Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified pharmacist to manage retail pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with MOH Malaysia regulations and company standards.

The role requires a Bachelor of Pharmacy and 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy retail, with preference for Chinese candidates. The incumbent will supervise staff, manage inventories, counsel patients, and participate in budgeting and administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy retail.
• Full registered pharmacist with Pharmacy Board MOH Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacy services in accordance with departmental standards and government regulations.
• Administer prescription medicines and ensure accuracy with prescriptions.
• Supervise preparation of medicines and manage stock control for specialized drugs.
• Counsel patients on medications and health issues; provide health advice.
• Recruit, train and manage staff; participate in budget and financial management.
• Attend regular meetings and keep up to date with pharmacy practice and new drugs.

Job Descriptions:

• Maintains pharmacy services in accordance with departmental standards and government laws and regulations
• Maintain policies and procedures relating to pharmacy operations and professional practice standards and coordinate budgetary needs for pharmacy services.
• Implement policies and procedures relating to pharmacy operations and professional practice standards.
• Maintain existing service levels, systems, procedures and practices, and make appropriate changes or additions as required.
• Administer prescription medicines to the public
• Make sure medicines supplied correspond with the prescriptions
• Make sure there is no dispensing error
• Supervise the preparation of medicines not made-up by the manufacturer
• Keep a register of specialized drugs for stock control and legal purposes
• Sell medicines over-the-counter
• Counsel and advise patients on the treatment of minor ailments
• Measure and fit compression hosiery
• Monitor blood pressure, as well as cholesterol levels of customers when
• the need arises
• Arrange the delivery of prescribed medicines to patients
• Order, sell, and control medicines together with other stock
• Supervise, manage and train pharmacy support staff

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years experiences as pharmacy retails
