Job summary

Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre in Malacca City seeks an experienced Pharmacist to supervise and coordinate all pharmacy activities, ensuring adherence to professional standards and hospital policies. You will oversee Outpatient, Inpatient, Drug Store, Manufacturing and Repacking, Drug Information Service and Clinical Pharmacokinetic Service.

In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, you may assume duties and guide staff at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from any university recognized by Malaysia Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in similar capacity.
• Exhibits professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical personality and willing to work long hours.
• Responsible.
• Able to work independently and with all level of staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all department activities, ensuring compliance with established standards of professional practice, policies and procedures and smooth running of pharmacy services (Outpatient, Inpatient, Drug Store Management, Manufacturing and Repacking, Drug Information Service and Clinical Pharmacokinetic Service).
• Take responsibility for duties of the Pharmacy Manager in his/her absence if the need arises.
