Job summary

UNICARE PHARMACY in Serian, Sarawak invites a licensed pharmacist to join as a full-time outlet lead. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, and provide health guidance while ensuring pharmacy best practices and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmacy, are fully registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia, and can communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medication dispensing, patient consultation, and health counseling in compliance with pharmacy best practices
• Oversee and document controlled substances and general inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with outlet managers, nutritionists, and pharmacy assistants to support efficient daily operations
• Support outlet in team leadership, including workflow coordination and staff engagement
• Facilitate staff training, provide regular performance evaluations, and foster professional development
• Supervise and guide the team to achieve sales goals and maintain high service standards
• Maintain effective communication with headquarters and other outlets to ensure operational alignment

Requirements:

Full-time position based in Serian

Must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy

Fully registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia

Solid knowledge of pharmacy-related laws and regulatory standards in Malaysia

Proficiency in English, Malay, Mandarin, and other local dialects is a strong advantage. We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.

Must have a pleasant, professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills

Experience in retail pharmacy management, inventory control, or procurement is a plus

Willingness to work on selected weekends and public holidays, with flexible scheduling Location: Serian, Sarawak
