Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Personal Driver to provide safe, reliable, and punctual transport for the Director and other authorized passengers. You will maintain the vehicle, plan efficient routes, and assist with company errands as needed.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, a valid Malaysian driving licence, and familiarity with Kuala Lumpur and Selangor roads. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia with basic English is expected. Working days are Monday–Friday plus Saturday half-day.

Qualifications

• Valid Malaysian driving licence with a clean driving record.
• 2–3 years of experience as a personal, executive or company driver.
• Familiar with roads around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
• Able to use GPS and navigation applications effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and punctual transportation for the Director to meetings, appointments, events, and other destinations.
• Plan suitable routes in advance and monitor traffic conditions to minimise delays.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, engine oil, brakes, etc.).
• Arrange servicing, road tax renewal, insurance, and repairs as required.
• Keep records of mileage, fuel usage, tolls, and other costs.
• Assist with errands, document collection or delivery, banking matters, and other tasks.
• Be available for overtime, weekends, public holidays, or outstation travel as required.
• Report any vehicle damage or issues to management.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding movements and business activities.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or management.

Job Summary

The Personal Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for the Director and other authorised passengers. The role also includes maintaining the assigned vehicle, planning efficient travel routes, and assisting with company-related errands when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and punctual transportation for the Director to meetings, appointments, events, and other assigned destinations.
• Plan suitable routes in advance and monitor traffic conditions to minimise delays.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle checks, including fuel, tyres, engine oil, brakes, and other essential components.
• Arrange scheduled servicing, maintenance, road tax renewal, insurance, and repairs when required.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, tolls, parking expenses, servicing, and other vehicle-related costs.
• Assist with company errands, document collection or delivery, banking matters, and other authorised tasks.
• Be available for occasional overtime, weekend duties, public holidays, or outstation travel when required.
• Immediately report any vehicle damage, accident, summons, or mechanical issue to management.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Director's movements, conversations, business activities, and personal information.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety requirements.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Director or management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence with a clean driving record.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a personal, executive, or company driver.
• Familiar with roads and common routes throughout Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
• Able to use GPS and navigation applications effectively.
• Responsible, punctual, trustworthy, and well-disciplined.
• Presentable, courteous, and professional when dealing with passengers and business associates.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
• Able to assist with carrying documents, luggage, or light items when required.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, public holidays, and outstation trips.
