Job summary

BUILDING ARCH STUDIO SDN. BHD. in Penang is hiring a professional driver to support the Director. You will safely transport the Director to meetings, appointments, and events, and assist with taking the Director's children to school or other locations as instructed.

You will also deliver documents and parcels, travel outstation when required, and ensure the vehicle is clean and well maintained. A high standard of confidentiality, punctuality, and professionalism is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class D driving license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience, preferably as a personal or company driver.
• Familiar with Penang roads and willing to travel outstation.
• Proficient in GPS/navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze).
• Punctual, responsible, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to assist with delivery of documents and errands.
• No criminal record; able to provide employment references on request.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role involves providing professional driving and support services to the Director. You will be responsible for safely transporting the Director to various destinations, including meetings, appointments, and business events, as well as assisting with transporting the Director's children to and from school or other locations as instructed. You will also perform general support duties such as delivering documents, parcels, and other work-related items, and travel outstation when required for business purposes.

Key responsibilities

Pick up the Director from home each morning and safely transport the Director to various destinations as required

Assist with transporting the Director's children to and from school or other locations as instructed

Drive the Director to meetings, appointments, business events, and any other destinations during working hours

Perform general support duties, including delivering documents, parcels, and other work-related items as assigned (office runner/office assistant duties)

Travel outstation when required for business purposes and provide driving support throughout the trip

Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition at all times

Follow traffic regulations and maintain a high standard of professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality while carrying out duties

About you

Preferably Male, possess a valid Class D driving license with a clean driving record.

Minimum 2 years of driving experience, preferably as a personal or company driver.

Familiar with roads and routes within the Penang and willing to travel outstation when required.

Able to operate GPS/navigation applications such as Google Maps or Waze.

Punctual, responsible, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Good attitude, well-groomed, and able to communicate politely and professionally.
