Job summary

MUDAJAYA GROUP BERHAD in Malaysia seeks a professional driver responsible for safe, confidential transportation for the Senior Director/MD, planning routes, maintaining the vehicle, and handling occasional personal errands with discretion.

You will drive to appointments, plan routes, ensure vehicle cleanliness, manage maintenance, log mileage, and uphold road safety and company policies while remaining professional and punctual.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driving license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a personal or corporate driver.
• Professional demeanor and appearance; well-groomed and presentable.
• Strong focus on safe driving and passenger safety.
• Commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Punctuality and reliable service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the MD and staff.
• Strong route planning and logistical skills.
• Remain calm under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Term of employment on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Senior Director/MD to appointments, meetings, and events in a timely and safe manner
• Plan routes in advance, considering traffic, weather, and time to ensure prompt arrival.
• Maintain the cleanliness and excellent working condition of the assigned vehicle(s), including scheduling maintenance and liaising with workshops for repairs.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
• Handle basic personal errands and ad hoc assignments, such as collecting documents or delivering parcels, as requested by the Senior Director/MD.
• Provide standby support for urgent matters, ensuring the Senior Director/MD has immediate transportation access.
• Manage a vehicle logbook to track mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintenance car cleanliness.
