United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Personal Banker to build and maintain strong relationships with individual clients, provide financial advice, and promote a range of banking products.

You will acquire new customers, assess financial needs, recommend deposits, loans, cards, investments, and insurance, and ensure service excellence while complying with AML/KYC regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• Experience in sales or customer service within banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products: deposits, loans, credit cards, investments, insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages an added advantage.
• Ethical conduct and compliance with banking regulations.

Responsabilités

• Acquire new individual customers and deepen relationships through needs-based selling.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable banking products.
• Provide personalized financial advice and guidance to customers.
• Process transactions accurately while complying with AML/KYC and policies.
• Meet and exceed sales targets for banking products.
• Stay updated on market trends and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with other departments to cross-sell solutions.
