Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Personal Banker in Jalan Ampang to be a primary contact for individual customers, providing comprehensive financial guidance and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.

You will build and maintain relationships, cross-sell banking products, and conduct needs analysis while ensuring AML/KYC compliance and accurate processing of transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of retail banking products including loans, investments, and insurance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of individual customers and understand their financial needs.
• Proactively identify and recommend UOB products and services to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct financial needs analysis and provide sound financial advice.
• Process customer transactions including account openings, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Resolve customer inquiries and handle complaints promptly and professionally.
• Cross-sell and up-sell banking products to deepen customer relationships.
