Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Personal Banker to be the main contact for individual customers, providing comprehensive financial advice and services to help achieve their financial goals.

You will build strong relationships, identify cross-sell opportunities, process transactions, and promote digital banking channels while ensuring compliance and meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years in a customer-facing role in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Results-oriented with a strong sales and service acumen.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional local languages a plus.
• Relevant professional certifications (FIMM, PCE, CUTE) are a plus.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience (1-3 years) in a customer-facing role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably as a Personal Banker or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Results-oriented with a strong sales and service acumen.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
