Job summary

You will prepare theatres, assist surgeons and anaesthetists, monitor vitals, maintain sterile technique, document care, and contribute to continuous improvement of theatre protocols. A valid Malaysia nursing licence and 2–3 years OT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration or licence recognised in Malaysia.
• Minimum 2–3 years in operating theatre or perioperative nursing.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and anaesthetic practices.
• Strong infection control and aseptic technique understanding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating theatres and ensure sterile equipment, instruments and supplies are ready.
• Provide direct perioperative nursing support during procedures, assisting surgeons and anaesthetists.
• Monitor patient vitals, comfort and safety; document care and events accurately.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control throughout procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of theatre protocols and regulatory compliance.
