Qualifications

• Experience in operating theatre or surgical environment.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre environment and sterilise instruments.
• Assist surgical teams by providing instruments during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses during surgery.
• Maintain accurate records of instruments, swabs and equipment used.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are sterilised and stored per protocols.
• Provide post-operative care and monitoring in recovery.
• Communicate with surgical teams to ensure procedural efficiency.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Support patients emotionally before and after procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with practices.
