Job summary

Aramex Penang is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the commercial and operational performance of the Penang branch. You will drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer development while ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.

You will develop growth strategies, build strong customer and partner relationships, and lead a high-performing team with full P&L responsibility to expand Aramex's freight forwarding and logistics business across the Northern Region of Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the branch's business development strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain solutions.
• Expand existing customer relationships and drive account growth through cross-selling and value-added solutions.
• Manage RFQs, tenders, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to strengthen market position.
• Take full ownership of branch performance, including revenue, profitability, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with company growth objectives.
• Drive margin improvement through pricing, cost management, and operational efficiency.
• Review performance regularly and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Provide management with accurate reporting on branch financial and commercial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, business partners, and stakeholders.
• Act as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts and critical customer matters.
• Drive customer retention, satisfaction, and long-term business partnerships.
• Represent Aramex in customer meetings, industry events, and commercial engagements.
• Ensure efficient and compliant execution of branch operations to support business growth.
• Collaborate with operations teams to deliver service excellence and meet customer expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to build a high-performing and customer-focused culture.
• Promote accountability, continuous improvement, safety, and compliance across the branch.
