Carlist.my in Penang seeks an ambitious Classifieds Sales Manager to build and grow dealer networks for Malaysia's leading automotive marketplace. You will lead a high-performing team, drive revenue through upselling depth products, and ensure superior customer experiences.

You will develop sales strategies, coach staff, monitor KPIs, and coordinate campaigns with dealers to optimize listings, pricing, and promotions. Strong English, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive to dealerships in Malaysia, including at least 2 years in people management.
• At least 2 years experience in senior sales or sales management.
• Strong knowledge of advertising processes, strategies, and campaign execution.
• Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, internet, and software tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch or team operations while consistently achieving and exceeding sales target.
• Lead sales training and coaching to equip the team for objections and effective market performance.
• Develop and refine sales strategies, tools, and processes to improve team results.
• Deliver accurate and timely weekly reporting and sales forecasts.
• Coordinate negotiations for large client contracts and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
