Job summary
Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to lead NPI activities and drive cross-functional collaboration for new product start-ups in semiconductor packaging.
You will coordinate start-up, achieve first-pass qualification, and ensure smooth transition to volume production withprocess and manufacturing teams. The role requires data-driven decision making, proficiency in JMP, and the ability to monitor yields and cycle times while guiding the product lifecycle from NPI to EOL.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical).
- Proficient in data analysis and JMP to drive decisions.
- Experience with semiconductor packaging and reliability concepts.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage NPI activities as a Product Owner with cross-functional teams.
- Drive New Product Introduction through NPI Phase Gate Review.
- Coordinate start-up and achieve first pass qualification.
- Communicate product requirements to the NPI team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with process/equipment/manufacturing/planning owners for volume production.
- Support first silicon, engineering samples, and cycle time targets per PDT schedule.
- Monitor yield trends and reliability to keep assembly in control.
- Own the product lifecycle from NPI to EOL.
- Engage with TPM on product-related matters.
