Job summary

Pivotal System (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable PCBA Process Engineer to develop and optimize PCBA manufacturing lines. You will work on SMT, DIP, reflow soldering, and related testing to improve efficiency and reduce defects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Manufacturing engineering, at least 3 years of PCBA experience, and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Excel and ERP/MES systems is a plus, with a focus on quality and process control.

Qualifications

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience with PCBA manufacturing processes and process optimization.
Knowledge of manufacturing process documentation (SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans) and ECO/ECN.
Proficient with Excel and ERP/MES systems; data analysis for production improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, DIP, reflow, wave soldering).
Provide technical support to production; monitor assembly processes and perform root cause analysis.
Set up, program, and maintain PCBA production equipment; ensure calibration and preventive maintenance.
Establish process control standards to meet IPC, customer, and regulatory requirements; contribute to quality improvements.
