Forvis Mazars is seeking a Payroll Team Lead to oversee the outsourcing payroll function and onboarding of new clients in Malaysia. The role requires reviewing reports from Associates, processing statutory and salary payments, and maintaining client relationships to ensure accurate, timely deliverables.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting software (XERO) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payroll team in the Outsourcing department.
• Onboarding new clients.
• Review reports prepared by Associates.
• Process statutory and salary payments via online banking.
• Act as a key point of contact in client relationships to enhance client experience.
• Meet strict deadlines with a high attention to detail.
• Keep up to date on relevant legislations.
• Train Associates and provide guidance and assistance where required.
• Assist with the preparation of payroll proposals.
• Assist management in identifying issues and implementing potential improvements within the payroll function.
