Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Lead Payroll professional to head the payroll team in the Outsourcing department. You will onboard new clients, review reports, process statutory and salary payments, and act as the main contact to enhance client experience.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of Xero is a plus, with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt to changes.
• Knowledge of XERO is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payroll team in the Outsourcing department.
• Onboard new clients.
• Review reports prepared by Associates.
• Process statutory and salary payments via online banking.
• Act as a key point of contact in client relationships to enhance client experience.
• Meet strict deadlines with a high attention to detail.
• Keep up to date on relevant legislations.
• Train Associates and provide guidance and assistance where required.
• Assist with the preparation of payroll proposals.
• Assist management in identifying issues and implementing potential improvements within the payroll function.
