Job summary

Mywave in Malaysia seeks a Payroll Administrator to manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. You will validate pay elements, prepare supporting documents, and process government statutory payments by gazetted deadlines while maintaining payroll records and generating required reports.

The role focuses on accurate data handling, timely reporting, and close coordination with the Account Leader to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Understand monthly payroll calendar and follow payroll cut-off dates
• Update and check employee payroll data in the payroll system
• Validate pay elements including overtime, allowances and deductions
• Prepare monthly payroll reports with supporting documents for compliance
• Process government statutory payments (Income Tax, EPF, Socso) by deadlines
• Prepare monthly costing/GL reports and other payroll-related reports as required by client
• Ensure proper documentation of payroll reports and statutory slips
