Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners is a leading HR services firm offering executive search, recruitment outsourcing and payroll support across SEA. We are seeking a Payroll Intern to gain hands-on experience and learn how monthly payroll processing works, including attendance, overtime, and deductions, while supporting the Finance team with data entry and confidential record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in HR, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for at least 3 months.
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers and data.
• Organised, responsible, and able to complete tasks accurately and independently.
• Comfortable performing administrative tasks with consistency.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curious and willing to learn about Singapore payroll and HR processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
• Perform accurate payroll data entry and maintain up-to-date employee payroll records.
• Assist in verifying attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, and deductions.
• Support payroll reconciliation and check payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare payroll reports, schedules and other supporting documents as required.
• Assist with filing and maintaining confidential payroll and employee records.
• Support the Finance team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects.
• Handle payroll and employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
