Job summary

Ant International in Malaysia seeks an experienced funds operations professional to design and implement fund operation solutions for cross-border payments, acquiring, and wallet businesses. You will lead international settlement, reconciliation, and dispute handling while collaborating with global teams to drive automation and compliance.

Travel may be required, and English proficiency is essential. The role emphasizes risk awareness, process improvement, and delivery of scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Minimum 5 years in funds settlement, clearing, reconciliation, disputes, or middle/back-office in a bank, securities firm, payment institution, or related financial institution (experience in e-wallet, fintech industry, or top-tier consulting firms is preferred).
• Possess financial industry knowledge; familiarity with cross-border business, payment, and settlement is preferred.
• Familiarity with core processes such as fund clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and dispute handling is preferred.
• Complex Problem Solving: ability to analyze complex problems, design solutions, and ensure their implementation.
• Communication & Collaboration: collaborate with internal and external teams to design service assurance solutions; teamwork and communication skills.
• Learning & Execution: strong learning ability and resilience under pressure; proactive in driving project progress.
• Risk Awareness & Stability: strong risk and compliance awareness.
• Travel: willingness to undertake business trips as required.
• Proficiency in English; multinational corporation experience preferred.

Job description

• Business Acumen & Solution Design: Possess in-depth knowledge of cross-border payment, acquiring, and wallet businesses, and understand the fund operation systems of financial institutions. Able to lead the design of fund operation solutions based on business scenarios and compliance requirements, and drive their implementation.
• Core Fund Operations Execution: Be responsible for or deeply involved in international fund settlement, clearing, accounting, reconciliation, dispute handling, and related operation work.
• Exception Handling & Collaboration: Liaise with cross-border payment business teams to efficiently handle fund operation-related exceptions.
• System Optimization & Risk Control: Responsible for the daily maintenance and continuous optimization of channel information and fund operations, driving automation and process improvements; identify fund operation risks, promote monitoring measures, and enhance compliance and risk control capabilities.
• Solution Delivery & Governance: Produce and deliver new product/industry solutions for Ant International's strategic partners; participate in the stability governance of related system sites.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in funds settlement, clearing, reconciliation, dispute resolution, or middle/back-office functions within a bank, securities firm, payment institution, or related financial institution (experience in e-wallet, fintech industry, or top-tier consulting firms is preferred).
• Possess financial industry knowledge; familiarity with cross-border business, payment, and settlement is preferred.
• Familiarity with core processes such as fund clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and dispute handling is preferred.
• Complex Problem Solving: Strong ability to analyze complex problems, design solutions, and ensure their successful implementation.
• Communication & Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external teams (including Business teams, Architects, Tech Leads) to design targeted service assurance solutions; excellent teamwork and communication skills.
