Job summary

OCBC is seeking a proactive professional for a payment processing investigations role in Malaysia. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve complex payment issues, monitor SLAs, and ensure data integrity.

The position emphasizes strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and regulatory knowledge. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in payments, with proficiency in MS Office and payment investigation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in payment processing or remittance operations.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, transaction flows, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing SLAs and driving process improvements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in payment investigation systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Time management and prioritization based on risk and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between internal departments and clients for complex queries.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure progress of investigations.
• Lead investigations on complex payment issues including OFAC-related scenarios.
• Monitor system availability and escalate critical issues to management.
• Participate in UAT for system enhancements and process changes.
• Provide training sessions for team members during project rollouts.
